The Northwest Professional Rodeo starts each day at 1pm. It will feature top cowboys and cowgirls in the northwest competing in Bareback, Saddle Bronc, and Bull Riding, Breakaway Roping, Calf Roping, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, and Barrel Racing. Last year we havd over 120 contestants vying for part of the $13,000 prize money.

Announcer Lee Daggett returns to announce the rodeo, which features the top stock of Gold Buckle Rodeo Company. The rodeo will also feature Miss NPRA, Shalaina Joiner from Longview, Washington, and the SunSation! Ladies Mounted Drill Team from Yakima, Washington.

"Family Night" will start directly after the bull riding on Saturday. This is where the kids get to compete in Stick Horse Races, Hat Race, Bag Race, and the Famous Hangman Race. Fun for the whole family. This year we are pleased to have Josh Shepherd, Clown, entertaining the crowd each day.

You won't want to miss the delicious BBQ burgers, chicken and hot dogs which will be served all day. Be sure to drop in on the beer garden and to visit all the other vendor booths selling food, jewelry, cowboy hats, and metal art. There will also be souvenir t-shirts and sweatshirts on sale.

Be sure and come back on Sunday morning for our renowned cowboy breakfast and watch the overflow cowboys and cowgirls run in slack. The excitement starts all over again with the Sunday show starting at 1pm.

Pre-sale tickets may be purchased in advance at Long Beach Pharmacy. You may also purchase tickets at the rodeo grounds, located on 6407 Sandridge Road. Adults $10, Seniors $9, Children 6-12 $5, and children 5 and under are free. Parking is free.
